A career without limits
As the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain.
It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris.
This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.
So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.
We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.

- Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and value-led prioritisation across the product lifecycle
- Drive the net lifetime value of AI and automation products by managing their delivery, quality, and ongoing optimisation in line with business needs
- Join up use cases and delivery efforts across directorates, identifying opportunities to reuse or scale AI and automation products across British Airways
- Track delivery progress and hold delivery squads accountable for milestones, dependencies, and timely issue resolution
- Mitigate risks and manage dependencies across squads and major IT programmes to enable successful product delivery
- Lead quality assurance across the delivery lifecycle, ensuring standards, methods, and governance gates are met
- Support continuous improvement by embedding delivery feedback loops and sharing lessons learned across delivery teams
- Ensure compliance of data products with BA and external data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards
- Represent the product portfolio within the wider AI and automation function, escalating blockers & enabling product squads to deliver value at pace
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
- Proven experience managing delivery of AI and automation products, ideally within a large or complex organisation, with a track record of working cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes
- Demonstrable understanding of AI/automation product lifecycle management, from development through in-life support and optimisation
- Understanding of data and AI governance, quality, privacy, and compliance considerations in a regulated environment
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product-led delivery approaches in data, AI, and automation environments
- Strategic & commercial thinking, applying business context to guide prioritisation and delivery trade-offs
- Strong data literacy, using insight to drive decision-making and shape product value
- Structured, decisive approach to product development, balancing critical thinking with practical delivery
- Customer-focused mindset, considering user impact and supporting adoption of products
- Skilled stakeholder engagement and communication, managing expectations and driving alignment across technical and non-technical audiences
- Adaptable and resilient, proactively solving delivery challenges and managing interdependencies across initiatives
