Our two and three-year graduate programmes provide dedicated career pathways for university leavers. They're designed to help develop your leadership skills, entrepreneurial flair, and commercial expertise. You’ll also earn a competitive salary while you’re doing it.

If you’re a university student completing a year in industry as part of your degree, then our 11-month business placements offer the chance to be part of projects that sit right at the heart of British Airways.

Or if you’re still studying but can’t wait to get going, our 10-week internships are a great way to get a head start. You’ll be working alongside and learning from decision-makers across our airline.

Annual leave

Annual leave entitlement of 26 days a year, pro rata if on a Business Placement or Internship.

Staff travel

Access to discounted ‘Hotline’ airfares for yourself, friends, and family from day one, along with unlimited standby and premium standby concessions on British Airways flights for you and your nominees. Unlimited standby concessions for yourself on other airlines with whom British Airways has an agreement. Available after six months’ service. Available to your nominees after one year of service. One annual bookable concession with British Airways for yourself on completion of one year of service.
