Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want to make sure our recruitment process is as accessible as possible so that anyone can apply for a position at British Airways. That means we’re always working to make our careers website easier to use and more accessible.

What are we doing?

To help us make our website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.

British Airways aligns with levels A of the guidelines with a target to reach at least level AA.

Our progress so far

We're working hard to achieve our goal, but we recognise that some areas still need improving. We’re continuing to update and monitor the website regularly as we make progress towards our AA target, but if you do encounter any challenges, please get in touch with us at bacareerswebsite@ba.com.

Accessibility and site help

British Airways is committed to being a fair and inclusive employer, and we want all those who visit our careers website, regardless of ability, to feel welcome and have a successful experience.

Reasonable adjustments

As members of the UK government’s Disability Confident Scheme, we’re positive about employing, retaining, and developing people with disabilities. This means if you live with a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010, and meet the essential criteria for the role you’ve applied for according to the job description, we’ll invite you to through to the next stage of the recruitment process.
This ‘next stage’ will vary per role and may involve online testing, video interviews, an assessment centre, or an interview.

We also recognise that people may require adjustments during the recruitment and assessment process.

If you believe this applies to you, please let us know on your application when prompted, or get in touch with our recruitment team using this form.
