A career without limits

As the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain.

It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris.

This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.

So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.

We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.

The role: Management System Training & Promotion Manager

This is a pivotal role at the heart of how British Airways brings its Safety & Security Management System to life. As Management System Training & Promotion Manager, you’ll shape how our colleagues learn, engage with, and champion the principles that keep BA safe and secure every day.

You’ll lead the end‑to‑end design, delivery, assurance and continuous improvement of the Management System’s training and engagement portfolio. Working closely with partners across the business — including the Global Learning Academy (GLA), Corporate Affairs, and operational teams — you’ll ensure our training not only meets regulatory requirements, but genuinely resonates with our people.

Beyond compliance, this role is about culture. You’ll play a key part in embedding the BA Safe & Secure cultural principles, creating engaging, accessible and impactful learning and communication that enables colleagues to understand their role in safety and security, and to feel confident living those behaviours in everything they do.

Standards Assurance & Continuous Improvement – Delivers a training assurance and CI framework that ensures course content remains engaging, impactful, relevant and compliant with company policies and legal requirements. Maintains course currency/recency, implements version control, ensures audit‑ready records, and robust evaluation to drive demonstrable value-add knowledge and skills benefits.

Communications & Promotion – With the direction, approval, oversight and support from the Corporate Affairs directorate, plans and delivers Safety & Security comms, briefs, notices, and promotional campaigns to exchange time-critical information throughout all areas of the organisation; enhancing colleague engagement and participation in the Management System. Owns the Safe & Secure intranet and shared‑resource knowledge base,

Experiences - Leads the delivery of initiative experiences to inspire colleagues and embed the British Airways Safe & Secure culture.

Supplier Management – Partnering with the GLA, leads the end‑to‑end procurement and vendor management for outsourced training and engagement activities, defining requirements, evaluating suppliers, assuring content standards, and compliance.
