Currently, British Airways has an exciting opportunity open for an HR Generalist – Data and Reporting. This position will be based in New York. (Hybrid)

The base salary range for this position is $98,627 - $120,544  per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

As part of our People and Corporate Affairs team, this role plays a key part in delivering a seamless, data‑driven HR service across our North American operation. Supporting a colleague population of approximately 900, you’ll provide trusted HR data expertise, first‑contact resolution and process excellence, ensuring accuracy, compliance and an outstanding customer experience throughout the colleague lifecycle. Working closely with international HR teams and key stakeholders, you’ll help shape how HR data, systems and insights support better decision‑making across the business.

  • You’ll provide consistent, high‑quality HR guidance to managers and colleagues across HR policies, processes and systems, with a strong focus on resolving queries at first contact.
  • You’ll manage and maintain HR systems and digital records, ensuring colleague data remains accurate and up to date, and monitor vendor interfaces to ensure seamless system integration and issue resolution.
  • The role will involve analysing HR processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement, preparing compliance and statutory reports, and ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements and all applicable federal, state and local legislation.
  • You’ll also support union‑related processes, maintain seniority and pay calendars, respond to benefits and retiree queries, and assist with immigration and international assignment documentation, all while handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

We’re looking for a confident HR professional with strong experience in HR data, systems and reporting, particularly using ADP for non‑payroll processes, benefits administration and analytics.

You’ll bring a solid understanding of HR policies, compliance and data protection requirements, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. 

Insight‑driven and digitally confident, you’ll be comfortable using data to diagnose issues, shape solutions and improve the colleague experience. You’ll combine professional courage with a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and customer‑focused HR delivery.
