The role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Administrator who will work closely with the Operations team to support the development and delivery of operational teams, business initiatives, processes, administration, and projects.
What you’ll do:
- Organise and manage day to day and longer-term planning schedule of meetings and events for BAMG
- Support and coordinate paperwork and create Daily and Weekly reports where required
- Organisation of key administrative processes, and updating relevant records with sickness, leave and overtime requirements
- Monitor and track Employees Records to ensure Compliance with Quality requirements in relation to British Airways Health Surveillance and training
- Maintain security passes up to date, including ID renewals, issuing, verification, and parking permits, ensuring compliance with BA security and airside access requirements
- Oversees and maintains visitor logs, contractor passes, and parking permits, ensuring full compliance with BA security and airside access protocols
- Preparing Meeting and documenting meeting Minutes and/or note-taking as required
- Coordination and arrangement of meeting rooms, calendar invites, virtual or physical events
- Play an active role in Wellbeing and DEI initiatives, contributing to the planning, organisation and delivery of engagement events and activities
- Supports the business process with accurate data and assist with current project work
- There is an expectation that you will undertake adhoc work on an exceptional basis or provide relevant cover for other team tasks
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
- Strong administrative and organisational management skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and busy workloads, manage multiple priorities, and resolve complex situations effectively
- Analytical capability to interpret data and provide insights to support decisions
- Understanding of Lean or Continuous Improvement techniques
Your experience:
- Experience of working in a professional services administration role or working under regulatory requirements (essential)
- Proven track record of working effectively with colleagues and/or customers (essential)
- Ability to prioritise when faced with multiple issues and can flex approach on the day (desirable)
- Problem solver and seen as an expert in processes and procedures (desirable)
