British Airways is one of the world's leading global premium airlines serving almost 40 million customers a year, travelling to over 180 destinations in more than 70 different countries worldwide.

Currently, British Airways has an exciting opportunity open for a Key Account Manager. This position will be based in New York City.

Working in the North America Sales Team, you will be responsible for sales agreements and subsequent activities for a portfolio of strategic Business Agency/Travel Management Companies.

Together, we will improve revenue opportunities and drive tactical activity for your accounts, by implementing commercial sales actions for British Airways, Iberia alongside our Joint Business partners for the North America market.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Represent British Airways and Iberia brands and be the face of the airlines to the indirect marketplace.
  • Collaborate with Agency Program teams, Sales leaders and Joint Business Partners to craft, negotiate and performance manage sales agreements.
  • Achieve Global Sales targets by designing a partnership development plan and ensuring implementation against this plan.
  • Regularly analyze data and draw and share insights to facilitate revenue generation.
  • Lead by example to nurture relationships across our Group (IAG and Iberia), Joint Businesses and Distribution, Global Revenue Management, Marketing and Network Planning to achieve our common business objectives for your account.
  • Advocate for change on behalf of British Airways/Iberia and your account to improve joint performance.

What you’ll need:

  • Drive and ambition to exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence, present and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven commercial and an eye for business with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to evaluate and translate data and insights to drive commercial opportunities.
  • Adaptability and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience as a strategic account manager within a corporate business travel or travel agency partner is desirable.

In addition to generous travel perks, you will be rewarded with a salary between $86,400 - $105,600.
