    To be considered for our current vacancies you will need:

    • Current UK CAA Part-FCL licence (Frozen ATPL (A) or CPL (A) or MPL) or ability to convert to a UK licence using CAA EASA transfer process route 3, 4, 5 or 6 (link below)
    • 85% ground school average with no more than three resits 
    • First-series CPL & IR pass (Series 1, Attempt 1 or Series 1, Attempt 2)
    • aUPRT
    • APS MCC 
    • To hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical and meet British Airways medical criteria
    • ELP ICAO Level 6
    • A valid passport (with minimum of 12 months before expiry date) allowing unrestricted worldwide travel

    Supporting Documents required:

    Pilots must have completed ALL elements of flight training before submitting an application. Please include your licence (or proof that you have submitted you licence application*), last 3 pages of your logbook, an APS MCC course completion certificate and your final course report from your ATO (or equivalent reports/ professional references, detailing each stage of your training, if you were modular) Please ensure this document includes your Ground School results (including number of resits, if any) and your CPL/IR results. If you do not have a similar document, please include the CAA documents which outline your ground school and flying results. If you have flight instructor experience, please also include your instructor rating with details of your hours of instructing in the past 12 months.

    *Pilots who are awaiting their licence and are successful in the process will remain in the hold pool until they are in possession of their licence.

    Please note:

    • Candidates who were not successful at initial screening, video interview, capacity testing or assessment centre stage can now reapply for the pilot recruitment campaign after 6 months from their most recent assessment date. This change is due to the updated assessment process. Candidates who were not successful at the SIM stage must wait 12 months before reapplying for the pilot recruitment campaign.
    • You may only apply to one airline within the British Airways family (British Airways, Euroflyer, or Cityflyer) at a time. If you are unsuccessful in one campaign, you will be unable to reapply to any of the three airlines within the British Airways family until the specified re-apply period has elapsed.
