The role:
An exciting opportunity to join British Airways Health Service as an Occupational Health Advisor has arisen!
Based at Waterside, near London Heathrow, you will play an integral part in the proactive provision of occupational health service to support the health and well-being of our colleagues.
What you’ll do:
- Work alongside a dynamic group of multi-specialist OH Physicians and Advisors to provide specialist health advice and assistance to British Airways colleagues.
- Support the management of fitness for work and sickness absence, plus the prevention of work-related ill health in ground, air and overseas environments.
- Offer expertise and guidance on a case-by-case basis, maintaining relevant documentation and reporting to management where required.
- The role holder will sometimes be required to travel to regional engineering bases, such as Cardiff.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team working skills and able to engage and collaborate across the business.
- Ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment, adapting ways of working to suit business demands.
Your experience:
- Part 3 NMC Registered Nurse with experience in case management and Occupational Health Nursing.
- Previous Occupational Health Nursing experience in aviation would be advantageous.
