The Role: Head of Delivery
Join British Airways as a Head of Delivery and lead the charge in driving digital transformation through agile excellence. This influential role partners with our product teams across one or more domains, aligning strategy with execution to deliver high-impact business outcomes. You will shape, build, and steer high-performing agile teams under the SAFe framework, ensuring delivery of exceptional service, innovation, and value.
What You’ll Do:
- Own strategic partnerships with key business sponsors to align product roadmaps with company goals and priorities.
- Shape and lead high-performing agile product teams, designing the delivery model to meet complex and evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement delivery strategies that balance product vision, performance, cost, and quality.
- Ensure domain performance is tracked and optimised through KPIs including NPS, transaction volumes, SLAs, and delivery velocity.
- Collaborate with the IAG Tech leadership team to enhance operating models and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets and forecasts with discipline, ensuring accountability and financial performance across product domains.

Your Experience:
- Senior IT leadership within a complex, global organisation.
- Proven experience delivering significant business outcomes through agile product teams.
- Expertise in senior stakeholder management and navigating strategic partnerships.
- Deep understanding of SAFe Agile practices, with previous experience as a Product Manager in this environment.
- A track record of operating effectively across varied cultures and geographic regions (desirable).
