The Role: Transformation Performance Analyst
Do you hold a finance qualification and want to use it to help drive meaningful business transformation?
Join the Finance Transformation team at British Airways as a Transformation Performance Analyst and play a key role in shaping the success of our transformation programme. You’ll be responsible for supporting the financial control, performance tracking, and value assurance of our investments – helping to deliver real, measurable impact across the business.
This role sits at the heart of Finance and Transformation and will suit a commercially minded individual with strong analytical ability, a finance qualification, and a passion for driving performance and change.
What You’ll Do:
Provide robust financial control and analysis across the BA Transformation Programme, including benefit tracking, forecasting, and investment performance.
Develop and maintain accurate, insightful reporting through BA’s transformation tracking tool and other financial systems.
Support the creation of enhanced forecasting models, including scenario planning and driver-based forecasting.
Partner with key teams to track transformation KPIs, assess value creation, and ensure alignment with business performance processes.
Carry out deep-dive and root cause analysis to understand underlying drivers of performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support communication and reporting to senior stakeholders, including insightful materials for the IAG and BA leadership teams.
Help identify cross-functional dependencies and support proactive resolution of issues to keep the transformation programme on track.
What You’ll Bring to British Airways:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear insights.
Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working with multiple stakeholder groups across the business.
An ability to thrive under pressure, prioritise effectively, and manage ambiguity with resilience.
Your Experience:
Degree qualified with a part or full professional finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Strong experience in a finance or analytical role, ideally within a transformation or performance-focused environment.
Solid understanding of financial reporting and management accounting principles.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with knowledge of tools like SAS, SQL, or Essbase an advantage.
Experience working in a complex, matrix organisation is beneficial.
