Opportunity Overview
This one-day experience is designed to give you an inspiring introduction to British Airways, our people, and the exciting opportunities that a future career with us could offer. You’ll discover more about our culture, gain insight into the aviation industry, and explore the different career pathways available at British Airways .
Your day will include:
- Interactive sessions where you’ll learn more about our business and future opportunities.
- Networking with colleagues, including those from Black heritage backgrounds, who will share their experiences and career journeys.
- Guidance on how to prepare for graduate and placement applications, with practical tips to help you succeed.
We’ll provide lunch each day and to make your insight day as accessible as possible, we can cover travel expenses up to £200 per person (excluding hotels).
About You
This opportunity is open to first and second year university students who identify as Black Heritage (including, but not limited to: Black African, Black Caribbean, Mixed – White and Black Caribbean, Mixed – White and Black African, Other mixed Black Heritage background). We are looking for students from any discipline who are eager to learn more about the aviation industry.
Application Process and Timelines
- Applications for this insight day will be open between 3rd November and 19th November 2025.
- Once you have submitted your application you will be invited to complete a video interview. The deadline to complete this will be 4th December 2025.
- If your video interview is successful, we will contact you to confirm your place on the programme.
