The Role:Key Account Manager Bahrainand Saudi Arabia

British Airways is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Key Account Manager to join our Commercial team and be based in Bahrain or the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. In this crucial role , you will manage a portfolio of British Airways corporate trade partners, maximising revenue, driving strategic activity, and unlocking commercial growth across key international markets.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially astute individual who thrives in a high-paced environment and is motivated by building strong partnerships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain high-value relationships with corporate and trade partners by understanding their needs and matching them with British Airways’ offerings.
  • Analyse data and market insights to drive share-shifting actions and unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Negotiate and implement bespoke commercial agreements to maximise value and performance.
  • Conduct high-touch performance reviews and face-to-face engagements with key accounts.
  • Act as a market ambassador for British Airways and Iberia, delivering in-person meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Promote the adoption of British Airways' new distribution capabilities (NDC) across the market.
  • Drive joint partner collaboration and strengthen strategic relationships across regions.

What You’ll Bring to British Airways:

  • Proficiency in managing large portfolios and executing strategic sales plans.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and resilience when adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across cultures and business functions.
  • Strong commercial judgement, customer focus, and analytical thinking.

Your Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years in account management or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CRM, data evaluation, and remote/live customer engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Language: Fluency in Arabic (native speaker level) is essential.

Additional Information for Applications
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Bahrain, Dammam, and Jeddah.

  • Location & Flexibility: This role is home-based, providing flexibility and autonomy in how you work. Candidates should also be comfortable attendingin-person meetings and events, and there is flexibility for occasional office-based working where required
