Work Experience Placement - Engineering Wales
At BAEW, we have three distinct businesses dedicated to maintaining the highest standards for all British Airways Boeing long-haul aircraft and Airbus fleet components. Our mission is not only to ensure the integrity and safety of every aircraft but also to drive towards a more sustainable future in aviation.
Our teams work across a wide range of areas, including Wings, Engines, Gears, Tails, Holds, Cabins, Seats, Safety Equipment, flight deck and Avionics. Whether it's a minor touch-up of paint or the major task of changing landing gear, every detail matters. We also have specialized workshops and support teams in Compliance, Planning, Technical, and Quality who contribute to our high standards.
We are offering a unique opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the world of engineering with a global airline. During a 5-day placement between September to December, you will experience firsthand what it's like to work across various departments, gaining invaluable insights into the different aspects of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
Below are the dates that the placements will be running. Please only submit an application if you are available to attend at least one of these weeks.
- W/C 13th October
- W/C 10th November
- W/C 8th December
Once the vacancy has closed, you will receive a form asking you to select which of the above weeks you can attend the work experience, and your application will be screened against those who have provided the same availability for the week/weeks you select.
