The role: 

Do you have any experience in a Property Real Estate role?

If yes, you will be working with relevant stakeholders, in development and financial approval of timely real estate solutions in response to defined real estate critical lease events and/or business objectives.

You will manage and monitor the delivery of professional real estate services through outsourced suppliers to meet real 
estate objectives

This new role for a Property Support Executive to join the Property Team at British Airways has arisen. You will be responsible for providing property support for BA’s global occupations across BA’s property portfolio.

This role is a permanent full time role.

What you’ll do:

Property Management & Lease Administration

  • Assist in the management of the company’s property real estate portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, landlords, tenants, and service partners to ensure compliant lease agreements and processes.
  • Preparing and securing case approval, in accordance with the company’s financial standing instructions.
  • Assist in preparation and execution of legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease records and documentation.
  • Monitor lease expirations and coordinate lease renewals or terminations.
  • Handle communication with tenants regarding lease terms, rent payments, and other related matters.
  • Maintain and update property databases and records.
  • Organise and run digital and physical files related to real estate assets.

Business & Financial Support

  • Process and track invoices, ensuring timely payments, for both lease and utility billing.
  • Lead inquiries related to payments, for both lease and utility billing.
  • Provide general administrative support to the real estate and facility management departments.
  • Maintain and update departmental records.

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

  • Proven ability to work with the team, cross functionally and at all levels internally and externally
  • Proven skills in working with a team of external consultants.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • A good understanding of BA’s business model and strategy, able to develop property solutions to support the property business objectives.
  • Able to work independently, taking initiative and responsibility for resolving problems.
  • Financial analysis to support the development of potential projects.
  • An interest in learning relevant real estate laws and regulations.
  • Willingness to use estate management systems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Your experience:

Experience in Procurement (CPS) and Finance (CFS) systems.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience of airline operations and sound commercial awareness (desired).
  • Experience of managing outsourced suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
