The role:
Cyber Product Manager
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for leading a team of Cyber Product Owners, ensuring our products are fit for purpose, delivering value and meeting our needs through data driven reporting and alignment to risk.
- Working with the Cyber Engineering Manager to effectively prioritise and manage demand on the Cyber Engineers, for the products we own.
- Leading the convergence of product domain roadmaps, strategies and visions to ensure cyber product development is aligned, and meeting our wider technological and cyber strategies.
- Ability to present on complex, technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders of varying seniority and knowledge.
- Lead on relationship development, continuous improvement and strategic review of our partners and suppliers who support our cyber products.
- Collaborate and build a strong network across BA to understand business needs and address any potential challenges our cyber products may introduce to the operation.
- Lead the development of Cybers product-led operating model, working with the wider BA Digital team to ensure alignment on principles and ways-of-working.
- Work closely with other cyber teams to feed incident data back into tuning our security tool configuration and assessing our deployed controls.
- Mentor and build cyber defence capability within the BA Cyber Team and more broadly.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
- Ability to remain calm and prioritise under pressure
- Demonstrate clear leadership and an ability to communicate, influence and persuade across the organisation at senior levels, leading by example and aligning stakeholder groups around a common vision.
- Stakeholder leadership and management with complex stakeholder relationships across BA, IAG and partners
- Excellent communicator, taking complex technical issues and making them approachable to all stakeholders
- Understanding of aviation systems and operations (desirable)
Your experience:
- Relevant security product engineering or leadership experience within a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrable experience of leading and developing new and emerging teams
- Understanding of aviation, transport or critical infrastructure (Desirable)
- Degree or Msc in Information Security (or equivalent experience) (desirable)
