What you’ll do:

• Drive your career forward by operating various large vehicles and specialist handling equipment safely around aircraft - every day brings new challenges and opportunities to develop your skills.
• Keep the world moving by loading and transporting cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring secure handling and delivery within our Service Level Agreements.
• Champion safety in everything you do - it's our top priority and underpins every aspect of our airside operations.
• Work collaboratively with team leaders, managers and colleagues to overcome challenges with our customers in mind.
• Master our systems and follow established procedures to ensure our cargo operations run seamlessly 24/7
• Communicate effectively across teams to deliver the exceptional service our global customers depend on
• Think proactively and find practical solutions - your resilience and problem-solving skills will keep our operation moving even when challenges arise.

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

Your experience:

• Be 21 or over with a full manual UK driving licence with no points.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional driving role.
• Competent in driving vehicles of all sizes in challenging environments.
• Strong physical fitness for manual handling tasks and working in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work early, late and night shifts covering 24 hours a day, year-round.
• Excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken English.
• Resilient approach with practical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to complete a 5-year background check for airside security clearance.

Please note: Before you start your journey with IAG Cargo, you'll need to pass a comprehensive medical examination, security interview and criminal record checks. You'll also undertake our world-class training programme to set you up for success. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
