The role:

Cabin Operations Associate  

We are looking for a self-starter with a flexible start-up mentality. From time to time, the role will not be limited to the following responsibilities outlined in the job specification. To provide effective and comprehensive administrative support to the Cabin Crew department. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, and providing support to the Head of Cabin Crew with administration duties and cabin crew pay queries.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide administration support to the Head of Cabin Crew and Cabin department
  • Act as a key point of contact for the cabin crew on a day-to-day basis
  • Compile daily reports and circulate relevant data within the team
  • Plan and organise meetings, including note taking.
  • Support Fleet Duty Managers (FDM) with note taking.
  • Maintain cabin crew files in accordance with GDPR and acceptable to the CAA
  • Assist with payroll-related processes to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Manage the process for crew airport IDs
  • Distribute and collect relevant company property in association with new joiners and leaver’s process
  • Manage the cabin crew uniform process
  • Support the Flight Operations department with the administration of iPads and relevant queries for cabin crew
  • Office administration tasks
  • Prepare presentations / documents on request
  • Undertake administration duties as required

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
  • A flexible and ‘hands –on’ approach to the role and supporting the other areas of the operation as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to challenging deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative without supervision as required
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to hold a full airside pass

Your experience:

  • IT proficient in full Microsoft office suit (Essential)
  • Experience of creating reports, analysing data, producing graphs/charts and providing summaries (Essential)
  • Experience of working in an administration role
  • Experience as a proven team administrator working effectively to deadlines
  • Experience of administering paper and electronic filing systems
  • Experience of working in the airline industry
  • Experience of working remotely from line manager and team
  • Basic knowledge of office procedures
