About the role

With over 100 countries and 600 different locations our network is vast. Layer on variations of holiday types from seasonal flying, city breaks, beach holidays, winter sun, plus long haul and short haul, there is a lot to our data and the pricing decisions to make. Join us as a Yield Analyst to own your work end to end and make pricing decisions based off your analysis of all this rich data.

Working in real time reacting to changing circumstances you can see the impact and contribution to the business your pricing decisions make. You will work with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, outside of the Yield team; to source the data, undertake your analysis and make your pricing recommendations. Being completely involved in the whole process.

You will report to one of our Yield Managers, working in a team of other Analysts, and within a wider Destination team who look after our hotel relationships.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure profitability/optimal revenue performance of designated destinations via the generation and execution of price changes through data analysis.
  • Maximise profitability/optimal revenue performance via yield management of prices in response to anticipated and proven consumer behaviour.
  • Support marketing activity and campaigns via the provision of prices
  • Review and analyse booking & web data to understand destination performance and maximise profitability.
  • Use the competitor data trends to analyse and make pricing decisions.
  • See things through and have end to end ownership.
  • Give ideas for how to improve and innovate.

What you will bring

  • Undertaken a pricing, yield or revenue role is a must. Ideally within the travel industry but not a necessity to be great in the role.
  • Demonstrate able to take ownership in your decision making and proactive in approach.
  • Strong numerate and analytical skills with a curiosity to solve problems.
  • Able to work to tight and conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Strong logic and ability to consolidate multiple pieces of information into a simplified view.
  • Ability to quickly respond to changing internal and external environments.
  • Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ideas, questions, an enquiring approach, and creative problem solving.
  • Got to be comfortable to turn things around quickly.

What we can offer you

To help you decide whether you would like to apply, as a guide, a typical salary in this role is around £34,000 to £37,000 per annum (this may vary depending on your relevant skills and experience).

Our offices are based in central Crawley and we offer hybrid working (within the UK only).  Generally, this role works from our offices twice a week, with additional days as needed depending on meetings etc. Office days are co-ordinated so that colleagues in the same team are in the office together to collaborate in person.  We usually support new colleagues in the office full time for the first few weeks.

We are advertising this role as a permanent full time role, however if you would like to apply on a part time basis, you are welcome to open a discussion about this at the stage of the application process that suits you.
