Our colleagues and customers are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re one of the UK’s leading and most trusted tour operators. We provide holiday packages, hotels, car hire and experiences via ba.com and the British Airways contact centres. From carefully selected hotels to our 24-hour support helpline we take every element of our customers’ holidays seriously.
As part of the British Airways brand we offer the advantages of being part of the UK’s largest airline coupled with all the benefits of being in a smaller company. Our country’s passion, diversity, excellence, creativity and warmth are the same special qualities that make all 340 of us at British Airways Holidays who we are.
British Airways Holidays is a great place to work, but don't just take our word for it. In a recent colleague survey, 91% of our colleagues agreed that people want to work here because of our culture and 94% confirmed we have a vision for the future that's easy to understand and meaningful.
Our business is growing and has ambitious plans, so it’s a really exciting time to join our team.
About the role
Every hotel we have a partnership with requires a detailed contract in place. These contracts are negotiated annually by our Destination teams. With the huge network BA flies to we have hundreds of contracts to continually review and put in place.
Part of this process is the accurate loading of the contracts, and all the detailed terms and conditions each one has, into our in-house system. We are looking for a Contract Data Executive to follow set out processes to load and maintain these contracts in multiple systems.
Working in a friendly and supportive team who you can learn from, you will take requests from the Destination teams and ensure their negotiated paper contracts can be translated into a loaded contract in a system.
You will own the process from getting the request through to ensuring the contract is loaded, and the relevant terms negotiated show on ba.com correctly. You don’t need to come from a system background as we will train you on all the relevant systems. However, you need to come with a very high accuracy and attention to detail, combined with a curiosity to problem solve and the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines, as there is a high volume of contract changes to manage. Finally, an understanding of travel processes and how travel contracts work is essential.
This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend, shift or bank holiday working. With flexible start and finish times to help you manage a good work life balance.
