I’ve never been afraid of getting lost. It’s often the best way to experience new cultures. Meet new people. The most memorable journeys of my life have been defined in this way. Like finding my way back to my bed and breakfast in Venice after a long day’s sightseeing. I actually found it peaceful.
Journeys help me understand new ways of thinking. Empathise with new perspectives. And thanks to the diversity and beauty of our world, I’ve been able to grow. British Airways has become my natural home; as a business it understands the world like no one else. But it’s also empowered me to explore a fascinating industry and take on opportunities across a huge range of different areas.
I thought I couldn’t be prouder of myself. Until I got my job at British Airways.
”I’m no stranger to a challenge though. I arrived here from Spain and did my Master’s in Finance in a language that was foreign to me. When I got a distinction, I thought I couldn’t be prouder of myself. Until I got my job at British Airways. My dreams actually feel more real to me now.
I’m learning invaluable skills and getting the sort of ownership over projects that not only give me confidence, they make me feel trusted and valued. That’s my kind of language.
