When I think of a journey, I imagine a horizon out at sea. It’s the most human thing in the world to imagine what exists beyond that horizon. That’s where I think the real adventure lies. Exploring unknowns at work or in the wider world. Stories, people, culture. You never know what experience can open new doors. It could be a fleeting conversation, a hidden avenue, or the taste of something unexpected. That’s all you need to uncover a different, more rewarding path.
Becoming a private pilot is one of the proudest moments of my life. So being at BA and immersing myself in aviation is like a dream come true. My job is more analytical (I studied Theoretical Physics) but combining it with private flying on the weekend gives me the balance I need. At the end of the day, all I really want to be is a captain for British Airways. So right now, I’m building up my hours and saving to make my dream come true. All to a thumping Bollywood soundtrack, of course.
