Job Description

BA CityFlyer is the leading airline bringing business and leisure customers into the heart of London via our home at London City Airport.

Due to expansion opportunities have arisen for EASA Part 66 B1s' to support the growing line operation at London City Airport.

As a B1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer you'll be responsible for carrying out line maintenance on our modern Embraer fleet to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as defect rectification and AOG recovery.  As a BA CityFlyer Line Engineer you will have the opportunity to become involved in other aspects of our operation including: aircraft delivery, acting as one of our base maintenance representatives and assisting with station start ups.

Successful candidates will need previous experience working in a line maintenance environment as a B1 certifying engineer and hold an EASA Unrestricted Part 66 B1 Licence with at least one type rating already held.

You will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of current EASA Part 145 procedures, be flexible in your approach to meet our operational challenges and work using the latest technology.

As part of a team of skilled engineers, team working is essential and safety will be at the heart of everything you do.

Current Embraer 170/190 type rating is desirable however type training will be provided to successful candidates.

Salary is £63,109 including Shift Allowance plus airline benefits.
