A great opportunity to join the Engineering Supply Chain organisation. You will lead the Tools and Equipment team ensuring that equipment is provisioned for new and existing fleets and service providers are delivering the required service to keep equipment, vehicles and tools in a safe and serviceable condition.
In this role you will build relationships with our key suppliers through face to face meetings. You will negotiate solutions to problems working with the supplier and internal stakeholders: technical, financial and operational. You will need to work with internal BA teams to understand supply issues and act as a focal to ensure a common understanding of issues with suppliers and BA.
You will need to be able to develop and interpret data in order to measure supplier performance, be a confident communicator with the ability to articulate your views with suppliers and hold them accountable.
Commercial and contractual experience is an advantage but if you don’t have this experience then this role will be a great opportunity to learn these aspects of the business and gain an appreciation of how they make a huge difference to Engineering; operationally and financially.
