British Airways Flight Training part of the Global Learning Academy operates 16 Full Flight Simulators (FFS), 4 fixed base simulators (FBS) and associated training equipment manufactured by L3 and CAE.
An opportunity has arisen for a Simulator Engineer to join our Engineering team, this role is based at London Heathrow, Maintenance Base (TBA).
As an experienced Simulator Engineer you will be part of an engineering team maintaining complex flight simulators and visual systems. You will have proven diagnostic, trouble shooting and problem solving skills with experience of working within a team and be self managing.
Current experience of working on complex electronics at system level and in computer networking technologies is essential. Understanding of simulator digital techniques, computers, hydraulic and aircraft systems is highly desirable. Shift covers 24/7 on a rotating basis, you will be required to work 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
Your qualifications should include an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent and HNC/D
